Getting there: An airport shuttle bus runs from the hotel to the airport and costs around 12.50. There is a railway station in the terminals central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Central Station approximately every 15 minutes. Shared Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall and seat up to eight passengers; fares cost from 19 per person. Private taxis to the hotel typically cost 35. Public buses run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities. Bus numbers 197 and 370 run to Amsterdam city centre and Amsterdam Zuid. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, join the A4/E19 and after around 500 metres take the A10 towards Ringweg Zuit. Exit following signs to Buitenveldert/Oud Zuid, heading towards Oud Zuid, and after around 500 metres turn right onto Amstelveenseweg. After 800 metres turn right onto Stadioplein and the hotel is approximately 1.5 kilometres further on.
Getting around: Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although there is an excellent integrated metro, tram and bus service running throughout the city and surrounding area. Cycling is hugely popular in Amsterdam and is an excellent way to see the city. Taxi ranks are available at the central station. Driving is discouraged within the canal ring.
