Amsterdam Escape Apartments guests can enjoy a range of amenities in their apartments including books and magazines, which guests are welcome to keep if they haven’t finished reading, board games including draughts, chess and cards, a library of up to 50 DVDs, videos, CDs and video games. Apartments also have travel adaptors and a ‘Just in Case’ box with anything a guest might have forgotten, including: toothpaste, toothbrush, shoelaces, sewing kit, safety pinks, first-aid kit and condoms. There are guides to Amsterdam in the apartments, as well as pipes and other smoking accessories for smokers. If guests inform the front desk of their preferred beverages the complimentary minibar will be pre-stocked with their favourite items. The concierge at the central front desk can arrange taxi limousine services (€40 each way to/from the airport), bicycle rentals (€12 a day), tour and excursion bookings and babysitting services.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Approximate driving time to Amsterdam Escape Apartments is 20 minutes and distance is 7 kilometres (5 miles).
There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes. The apartments are within walking distance of the station or take the Metro for one stop to Nieuwmarkt Square (10 metres away from apartments). Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. A taxi costs approximately €40. Public buses run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities.
Driving directions: From the airport take the ring road/A10 and follow signs to Centrum (City Centre). Then follow signs for Nieuwmarkt. The apartments are located at 9 Klovenierburgwal.
Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles.
