Getting there: There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall, under Schiphol Plaza. Take the train to Sloterdijk to reach the hotel. A taxi from the airport should cost in the region of €30. Buses 15 and 82 can be caught to Bos en Lommer Plein. Cross Bos en Lommer Plein to reach the hotel.
Driving directions: From airport take the A4 highway, in the direction of Amsterdam. Then take the A10, towards Zaandam, and take exit S105. Turn right at the traffic lights, then first left, then left again to find the hotel.
Getting around: Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although there is an excellent integrated metro, tram and bus service running throughout the city and surrounding area. Cycling is hugely popular in Amsterdam and is an excellent way to see the city. Taxi ranks are available at the central station. Driving is discouraged within the canal ring.
