The HEM Hotel Amsterdam comprises three interconnecting buildings, with two elevators providing access to the four floors. There is a soft drink vending machine on each floor.

The HEM Hotel Amsterdam has 218 guestrooms, spread over four floors in three interconnecting buildings. Rooms on floors one and four offer more traditional style decor with chequered fabrics and blue colour scheme. Guestrooms on the second and third floors are decorated in a more contemporary fashion with modern, dark wood furnishings and earth tones.
All guestrooms provide pay satellite television, work desks with direct-dial phones, wireless Internet access (surcharge), and climate control. Tiled bathrooms have walk-in showers and hair dryers. Double-glazing soundproofs rooms from the nearby motorway.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Approximate driving time to the HEM Hotel Amsterdam is 15 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6 miles).
Getting there: The Connexxion Schiphol Hotel Shuttle bus also runs to the hotel. Tickets are available on the bus and at the hotel reception desk (€12 one way). From Centraal Station, tram number 2 stops at Westlandgracht from where it is a short walk down Poeldijkstraat and into the Voorburgstraat; the hotel is on the right. Alternatively, taxis from the airport cost around €20 to the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A10, then exit Sloten/Schinkel (S-107). Follow the signs with the HEM Group logo, turn left at the end of the exit, turn left at the Aalsmeerplein into the Vlaardingenlaan, take the first street to your right, this is the Naaldwijkstraat, at the end of which is the HEM Hotel Amsterdam.
Getting around:Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles.
