Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS): Approximate driving time to the Hotel Luxer is 15 minutes and distance is 20 kilometres (12.5 miles).
There is a railway station in the terminal’s central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also run regularly into Amsterdam.
Driving directions: From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport take the A4/E19 towards Amsterdam and then the A10. Leave at exit s105 towards Centrum, turn right onto Hoofdweg and left onto Jan Evertsenstraat. Turn right onto Admiraal de Ruijterweg and continue along De Clercqstraat and Rozengracht before turning left onto Westermarkt. Turn right onto Raadhuisstraat and left onto Spuistraat. Turn left onto Paleisstraat, continue along Dam and then Warmoestraat on which the hotel is located.
Much of Amsterdam can be explored on foot although trams run throughout the city. More adventurous visitors may wish to hire bicycles.
