Thermae 2000 is set in gardens next to1200 square metres of thermal baths, and guests can access the baths in bathrobes through a connecting corridor. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools of thermal waters rich in minerals. A programme of free daily activities includes relaxation exercises, gym sessions in the water, and flotation. There are jetted pools, whirl benches, underwater jet massage, and five different types of sauna. A range of skin and body treatments are available, as well as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, relaxation rooms, massage chairs, a cinema, and a sun meadow with views over the valley. |

Maastrict Airport (MST): Approximate driving time to Thermae 2000 is 20 minutes and distance is 11 kilometres (7 miles).
Getting there: Bus number 61 (51 on Sunday) run from the airport Maastrict train station. A single ticket costs €2.20. Valkenburg is on the train line between Maastrict and Heerlen. There is a shuttle bus service between Valkenburg station (4 kilometres away) and Thermae 2000. A single trip costs €2. From the Grendelplein it costs €1. All prices subject to change.
Driving directions: From Masstrict at the first traffic lights at the Geusselt Junction turn left towards Valkenburg/Cauberg. Follow the main road through Berg en Terblijt, and then follow the signs for Vilt. On top of the Cauberg take the first road right for Thermae 2000 and Holland Casino.
Getting around: Bus number 51 departs from opposite the Thermae 2000 and connects the hotel with Maastrict. The train station in Valkenburg connects the town with destinations all over the Netherlands. A hire car would be recommended to explore the Dutch countryside.
